Voter Information

Here is the information you need for the 2024 Election!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th at the Municipal Office Complex, 1 Plains Road, Moodus from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Early Voting

 Early voting will be held in the Registrar’s Office at the Municipal Office Complex, 1 Plains Road, Moodus starting Monday, October 21st and extend for 14 days, including weekends through November 3rd. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. every day except for October 29th and 31st when hours are 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

CT residents 18 or older (or 17-year-olds who will turn 18 before the next election day) may register to vote online above or by filling out the Mail-In Voter Registration Card and mailing it to: Registrars of Voters, Town of East Haddam, PO Box 385, East Haddam, CT 06423.

Connecticut also has Election Day Voter Registration. Residents may register and vote at the polls on election day. Please bring an ID and proof of residency. It is always better to register ahead of time if possible, but if it’s the day of and you haven’t gotten to it yet, please go register and vote anyway!

Elections are held at the Municipal Office Complex gymnasium, 1 Plains Road, Moodus.

Referendums may occur at the Municipal Office Complex gymnasium or at the Old Town Hall, Town Street, opposite the First Congregational Church depending upon scheduling.
